The Michigan Master Gardener Association (MMGA) is a separate entity from MSU Extension. To become a member of the MMGA, you must be a certified Master Gardener or Master Gardener Trainee. Membership with the MMGA provides liability insurance coverage when working as a Master Gardener Volunteer, exclusive discounts for members, and opportunities for education and engagement. Once you have decided to become a Master Gardener Volunteer, we hope you will also join the Michigan Master Gardener Association.
