Description of the Event: The Romeo Area Garden Walk, hosted by the Friends of the Romeo District Library, will
be held on Saturday, July 11 from 10am to 6pm. The Walk features six beautiful
gardens in and around Romeo, as well as a presentation on Monarch butterflies, the
planting of a Monarch way station, a folk music concert, a book sale, refreshments and
a tea party. Several gardens will feature local artists working on-site (“en plein air”),
creating works inspired by the garden. Master gardeners will be available to answer questions. All for only $10, with proceeds going toward the purchase of a bookmobile for the Romeo District Library.
