Description of the Event:
Learn how to create gardens for sustainability and biodiversity for pollinators and wildlife using native plants. Speakers are Claudia West from North Creek Nursery and co-author of "Planting in a Post-Wild World; Catherine Zimmerman, documentary filmmaker, with her newly released film, "Habitat Heroes" focusing on Doug Tallamy's work; Jennifer Davit, former ED of the Lurie Garden in Chicago, one of the most visited public sites in the US with naturalistic plantings; Steve Repasky, head of Burgh Bees, the first community apiary in the US; Michele Colopy, director of the Pollinator Stewardship Council.
