Description of the Event: The Gladwin County Master Gardeners and the Gladwin County Chamber of Commerce present their annual Earth Day Celebration. Professor Dr. Rufus Isaacs, from Michigan State University's Department of Entomology, will be talking about pollinators. Dr. Isaacs is currently exploring insect ecology and behavior to develop insect pest management practices for sustainable crop production. Most of this is done in berry crop systems including blueberry, grape, raspberry and strawberry.

Admission is FREE! No preregistration required.

Many local vendors will be on hand with great displays and items for sale. Door prizes and free garden gifts will be available (while supplies last)! Light Refreshments will also be served. 

Doors open at 5:15 p.m. Program begins at 6:00 p.m.
