Description of the Event:
"Let me tell you about the Birds and the Bees and the Flowers and the Trees." ROSANN KOVALCIK, a birder from Grosse Pointe Woods will teach you how to garden with birds in mind. LARRY WEANER combines design with the reproductive abilities of plants, bringing new meaning to partnering with nature. THOMAS CHRISTOPHER shows that learning to respect natural cycles can simplify everything from weed and pest management to overcoming invasives. HEATHER HOLM will discuss design considerations, plant selection, and landscape maintenance strategies to support and attract native bee populations.
