Description of the Event: When planning a pollinator habitat, there are many things to take into consideration. The amount of sun, access to water, shelter/nesting for pollinators, size of planting area and proximity to pesticides are all important to consider. Just like us, pollinators need sources of food year-round. You want to make sure you have early blooming, mid-blooming and late blooming plants in all seasons. This discussion will go over the best varieties of native plants to think about propagating now to begin the new year off right for pollinators.
