Join MSU Extension’s Senior Horticulture Educator (and plant geek) Rebecca Finneran in learning how to identify long-lasting evergreen and other woody plants that are best for creating centerpieces, swags and outdoor containers.  Finneran will explain how plant characteristics make them suitable for either indoor or outdoor conditions.  You will also learn how to create a captivating bow to celebrate the colors of autumn and then flip your creations to a winter theme.  

A list of materials will be provided for participants as well as plant identification characteristics and tips for gathering greens from your own property. This workshop will be delivered “live” and will incorporate video segments that provide closeup views of design and crafting techniques. Participants will have access to the recorded workshop for the entire month of December to review and practice.
