Michigan State University Extension is offering a free Virtual School Garden Education series Spring 2022. The target audience for this series is formal and informal educators including school and community garden organizers. The goal of each session in this series is to create and take home 2-3 outlines/lesson plans designed for teaching in the garden. PLEASE NOTE: Due to the interactive nature of these webinars, each webinar is limited to 40 participants each on a first come, first served basis.
Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at 4:00 pm: Social Studies in the Garden with Dixie Sandborn, 4-H Horticulture Specialist, MSU. Learn how to use the garden to take your students around the world! Dixie will link the garden to social studies in fun and engaging ways that include chocolate and salsa.
