Continuous learning is the key to successful beekeeping. Build on your knowledge as we explore topics that will take you to the next level such as: swarm management, splits, re-queening, advanced frame options and even what to do with the fruits of the bees’ labor.
Tickets are $50 per person. Classes are mentorship-style experiences with each 1.5 hour session guided by Elly Maxwell, Dow Gardens Entomologist, guest speakers, and participants themselves. This series is not intended for new beekeepers.
Pre-requisites for registration: successful participation in the Beginning Beekeeping Series or 1 full season of hive management.
Monthly topics are subject to switching based on speaker availability and needs of the class participants.
