Do you love plants and gardening? Learn more about plants, soil, and gardening in a year with Junior Master Gardener. Youth in grades 5-8 will earn a Certificate!
The Junior Master Gardener program is an international youth gardening program of the university cooperative Extension network. JMG engages children in novel, “hands-on” group and individual learning experiences that provide a love of gardening, develop an appreciation for the environment, and cultivate the mind.
Youth who attend at least 8 classes will earn their Junior Master Gardener Certificate. Lenawee Junior Master Gardener is generously supported by the Lenawee Intermediate School District (LISD) Center for a Sustainable Future.
This series is free to participants. Participation is geared for youth in grades 5-8.
