Michigan State University Extension is offering a free Virtual School Garden Education series Spring 2022. The target audience for this series is formal and informal educators including school and community garden organizers. The goal of each session in this series is to create and take home 2-3 outlines/lesson plans designed for teaching in the garden. PLEASE NOTE: Due to the interactive nature of these webinars, each webinar is limited to 40 participants each on a first come, first served basis.
Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at 4:00 pm: Literature in the Garden with Chelsea O’Brien, Director of the Clarkston Family Farm. The garden is full of great stories and messages and Chelsea will demonstrate how to connect the garden and literature into lesson plans that go beyond journaling.
