Wild One’s River City
Location : Aquinas College, Performing Arts Center, 1703 Robinson Road SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49506
Wild Ones River City will be celebrating 15 Years of educating and advocating for native plant landscaping. The celebration will be on Monday June 20 at the Aquinas College Performing Arts Center. There will be an EXPO from 5-7 with exhibits by local conservation organizations. They will have great information about our local environmental issues, ways to get involved, and a couple of our exhibitors have said that they will be giving away some native plants. At 7:00, our program will begin. Dr Doug Tallamy will be presenting on his book “Nature’s Best Hope”. Dr. Doug Tallamy is a nationally known entomologist and expert on biodiversity. A few of his books will be available for purchase and Dr. Tallamy will be signing books before and after his presentation. Thanks to our generous sponsors, the event is free, but you will need to register due to limited seating. Registration will begin on May 1. We hope that you can join us for this great event!
