Join Michigan State University beekeeping instructors, Dr. Zachary Huang and Dr. Meghan Milbrath, for a queen rearing workshop. The hands-on session will cover grafting, starter colonies, finishing colonies, and more!
Participants will receive instructional videos to review before the workshop. There will also be a live Q&A session with instructors on Tuesday, June 13th at 7pm. It will be recorded for those who are unable to attend.
Registration is required, and space is limited. The workshop is $85 per person and includes lunch and a queen rearing manual.
This event is subject to change or cancelation due to weather or other circumstances.
Requirements
This event is only for adults (18 years or older).
All participants are expected to arrive with protective gear/clothing.
If you have ever experienced an allergic reaction to an insect sting, you must receive clearance from a medical professional and the program instructor prior to the event.
