Cost: $25 per participant
Native plants are essential to the ecosystem of Michigan. Do you know why? You can learn more by joining us for an enlightening presentation and up-close look at our Michigan native plants with Amy Heilman. Amy has been using her degrees in Landscape Horticulture and Natural Resource Management and Biology to design and implement gardens for over 15 years. A Michigan native herself, she specializes in the creation of gardens for both function and beauty using native plant species with the goal of encouraging homeowners to take an active role in the planning and care of their gardens.
The workshop will consist of an indoor presentation by Amy, followed by a short break and then a walk through the native plants in our Grand Ideas Garden located at the MSU Extension office. Each participant will also go home with a Butterfly Weed (Asclepias turberosa) plug.
Re-certified MSU Extension Master Gardener attendees will earn 3 continuing education hours.
Registration Deadline: Friday, June 22, 2018 or when the workshop is full.

A full refund, less a $10 processing fee, will be issued for any registration cancelled up to 7 days before the workshop.
No refund will be issued for any registration cancelled within 7 days of the workshop.
No refund will be issued for any registration cancelled after the workshop has started.
