MASTER THE SCIENCE AND ART OF PRUNING!!!!!!
Pruning is an important cultural practice used to maintain health, safety, vigor and appearance of woody plants. It involves both art and science – art, in shaping plants in harmony with their growth habit to enhance the landscape, and science, in knowing how, when, where and why to prune for maximum benefit.
MSU Extension is offering this pruning workshop to help you better understand the science behind pruning and a bit of the art. MSU Extension Senior Horticulture Educator, Rebecca Finneran will lead this interactive on-line Zoom class. The workshop is designed to help participants learn best practices for pruning and the proper equipment it takes for each job. The workshop will take place live, online and you will be able to ask questions and interact with the instructor. One highlight will be the student's ability to submit photos for discussion and analysis.
Technology Requirements: Below are recommendation for the optimal interactive online learning experience:

* A reliable, internet connection - broadband wired or wireless (3G or 4G/LTE)
* Webcam or HD webcam - built-in or USP plug-in
* Speakers and a microphone - built-in or USB plug-in
Feb. 18th workshop: Registration deadline: Feb.16, 2022 or when the workshop is full.
Certified/Re-certified MSU Extension Master Gardener attendees will earn 4 continuing education hours for the session they attend or recording they watch.
For your convenience, this workshop is being offered on three different days. To learn more about when and how to prune, register today for the workshop that best fits your schedule. All sessions will be recorded and the recording link sent to registrants after the session.
Payment by Credit Card (Debit cards requiring a PIN are not accepted): to expedite your reservation, we recommend payment by credit card at the secure MSU payment site. Upon completion of the payment process, you will see a screen showing transaction approval and will receive a receipt showing $0 balance.
Check Payments: Make checks payable to MSU and allow 10 days for mailing and processing. Your registration is not reserved and you will not be sent the session link until your balance is paid in full.

Refund Policy - for the Pruning Workshop
A full refund, less a $10 processing fee, will be issued for any registration cancelled up to 7 days before the workshop.
No refund will be issued for any registration cancelled within 7 days of the workshop. No refund will be issued for any registration cancelled after the workshop has started.
